Hi,  My name is Stephen G. Boehme

I run a small pottery out of my home studio in Riverton Utah.  Mainly I produce functional pottery and sculpture,  Recently I have become obsessed with Zinc Crystalline glazed porcelain.  I t has been a challenge learning the glaze chemistry and firing process.   The crystalline glazes surfaces balance out and contrast magnificently with my stoneware process.  I hope to produce many pots this summer and maybe doing a few art festivals

I teach pottery,silversmithing, and sculpture at Viewmont High School in Bountiful Utah.  I have taught there for the last 11 years.

• artist in residence at the Sundance resort in Sundance Utah from the summer of 1997-2007
